• Rebuilding Lives: In the aftermath of the December 2004 tsunami, strategic partnerships enabled CHF to ensure a larger impact than bilateral assistance would have alone. With the support of the AIG Disaster Relief Fund, Briggs & Stratton, and DLA Piper Rudnick Gray Cary, among others, CHF International leveraged our private-sector partners’ contributions for a threefold investment in the region and quickly began implementing a range of programs to restart vital income-generating activities that complemented funding for housing projects provided by the United States government. • Improving Economic Conditions: CHF International is also a leading implementer of microfinance programs, designing and delivering a variety of financial services in developing and transitional countries around the world.
